Abstract
|
|
|
Virus associated hemophagocyic syndrome (VAHS) which occurs primarily in
immunocompromised patient, is characterized by fever, constitutional symptoms,
pancytopenia and histiocytic hyperplasia with hemophagocytosis on the bone marrow
smear Recently the author experienced a case of VAHS in systemic lupus
erythematosus, who had a history of herpes zoster and had been treated with steroid.
So we reported this case with brief review of literatures.
